The application does not collect and transfer end user personal identifying information to any remote servers. Some personal identifying information may be collected to increase an end user’s experience and enjoyment of the application such as the following. Email Address

2. HOW INFORMATION COLLECTED IS USED

The information collected is only used to help an end user get the most out of the application and all the information is stored on the local device. A user can optionally choose to store a default email address which saves them having to re-key a regularly used email address when emailing project or midi files to an email account (usually the users own email account). A user can optionally choose to store an IP address and port number of a device on their local network when using the ‘Live Play’ feature. This is used to identify the address of a server component that can be used to propagate application generated midi files on to an end user’s Digital Audio Workstation so they can be rendered using a wider range of instrument sounds.

3. TRANSPARENCY AND CHOICE

No information is collected without an end user knowing and the end user can choose whether or not to offer the data in order to gain the benefits that brings.

4. INFORMATION YOU SHARE

None of the information collected is shared with others. As previously stated that information is only stored on the local device.

5. ACCESSING AND UPDATING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The information collected can be changed using facilities within the application and because it’s only held locally this can be done regardless of whether the user is connected to the internet. The information can be deleted by updating it and clearing the data presented.

No end user personal information is shared with others.

7. INFORMATION SECURITY

All the information collected is stored locally and therefore subject to the information security risks associated with local device ownership and therefore are the end user’s responsibility. The small amount of data captured locally is not encrypted by the application as it is not considered sensitive.

8. CHANGES

This policy may change from time to time. Any changes will be notified by updating this document and refreshing it on the website so the user should review it from time to time. As end user contact details are not captured by the application direct notification of privacy policy changes is not possible.
